GOD DID… NOT!!

“If He is God, Worship Him”

Acts 17 tells about the time Paul was led by the Holy Spirit to travel to Athens to preach to the city bc they lived a life heavy with idol worship (they worshipped many things). When he began teaching about Jesus, they found his message odd and claimed it was about a ‘foreign god’..yet when he walked along their statues made to their idols he found one dedicated to “ 'TO AN UNKNOWN GOD - The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth…” The Unknown God the statue referenced was YHWH…

When I look out in the world, that’s how I see a lot of us..walking around worshiping so many things that are perversions and we don’t even know what the real is anymore. Now more than ever the tides are shifting where the world blatantly blasphemes & uses YHWH’s name & the things intended to serve Him purely for themselves..then turn around and say they’re doing it in His name! To put it simple - a lot of folks out here perpetrating, saying God’s work is being done when it couldn’t be further from that! Those who worship God must do it in Spirit and in Truth..not how they see fit, what fits their aesthetics or vision, and definitely not how the rest of the world serves their gods.

How can something be created & it’s proclaimed “God did it!” when it promotes and flaunts promiscuity, physical, mental & spiritual intoxication, and self exaltation?! If the God you say you serve has clearly outlined His requirements for living His lifestyle & it goes against those things, how can you/we offer those things up to Him and think it’s acceptable? So that means either one of a few things: either we’re all out here ignorantly worshipping God the wrong way bc of poor examples, or people are willingly doing what they want and slapping God’s name on it to deliberately deceive others. Either way the time for ignorance has past expired.

“If The Lord is God, follow Him”, but if *INSERT EVERYTHING ELSE!* is your god then follow him/her/them..just stop putting God’s name on it & call it what it is!
